The Pears Building houses UCL’s Institute of Immunity and Transplantation. Ahmarra manufactured more than 200 doorsets for the project, combining durable laminate finishes with American white oak veneer. The package included FD30 and FD60 fire doors, non-fire-rated doors and factory-fitted ironmongery. The building brings together research facilities and patient accommodation, with acoustic performance also forming part of the door specification.
